We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cargo Operations Officer with 1–2 years of relevant experience in cargo operations, freight forwarding, logistics, or the aviation industry. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily cargo operations to ensure smooth and timely handling of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cargo operations and shipment handling activities.
• Ensure proper receiving, handling, storage, and dispatch of cargo.
• Prepare and verify cargo documentation and shipment records.
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, customers, and other departments.
• Monitor cargo movement and ensure timely processing of shipments.
• Check cargo details, weight, dimensions, labels, and documentation for accuracy.
• Handle operational issues and coordinate with relevant teams for quick resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, cargo procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, deliveries, and operational activities.
• Prepare daily and periodic cargo operation reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in cargo operations, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
• Good knowledge of cargo handling and operational procedures.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of aviation cargo procedures will be an advantage.
